I think it is so clever what you have done. Each room is so unique and creative. I stayed in the beach house one, it was absolutely wonderful, peaceful. I most definitely will be exploring the other amazing rooms that James has to offer.

The Great Night Stays touch
Every detail matters
Swans on the bed, snacks on the counter and a welcome in every room.
I’m Jim, founder of Great Night Stays. My wife, Suzanne, and I are passionate about creating clean, comfortable and thoughtfully designed spaces where guests can relax, reconnect and make lasting memories. We take pride in the little details, from spotless rooms and responsive communication to the unique amenities that make every stay special. Whether you’re visiting Reno for business, a weekend getaway, an event or simply to explore, our goal is a stay that feels welcoming, comfortable and hassle-free. Enjoy your stay!
Choosing a stay, booking, the house rules and the spa, answered.
Choosing
For romance, a jacuzzi tub in the Zen Den, the Golden Dragon or the Tiki Beach, or the hot tub and sauna at the spa courtyard. For fun, the Movie House or the GameZone. For work, Rivet Studio 150 or 151 or the Art Deco Studio. For a long stay or four guests, a Northtowne apartment or the Rivet Extended Stay. See Collections for the lot.
Three suites on Haskell Street in Midtown Reno; three by Victorian Square in Sparks; the spa courtyard 1.5 miles from Reno–Tahoe Airport; five apartments at Northtowne in north Reno; and four studios at the Rivet on Market Street, near the airport and the hospitals.
Booking
You book straight with Jim, Suzanne and the team who look after the rooms, and they handle everything from the first question to check-out.
Yes. Ask about special set-ups for anniversaries and birthdays when you book; guests at Northtowne have ordered an anniversary package.
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is by 11 am, with self check-in by keypad. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for a fee when arranged in advance.
You get the Online Check-In Guide before you arrive: the door code, where to park, how the amenities work and what to do at check-out. Message Jim and the team any time; guests say the replies come within minutes.
The spa
Shower first. Start the sauna and give it fifteen minutes to warm up while you soak in the hot tub (it runs no hotter than 104°F; take a break every fifteen minutes). The sauna is about 105°F when you go in and climbs to about 147°F over the next fifteen minutes; if you rarely use one, keep it to fifteen minutes. Drink plenty of water, and no food or drink in the tub or the sauna. Skip both if you have health concerns; use is at your own risk.
House rules
Only with approval in advance and the pet fee paid before arrival. Service animals are always welcome.
No smoking or vaping indoors, no parties or events, and only the guests on the reservation stay overnight. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am.
Parking is free, in the spaces the Online Check-In Guide shows. Cars parked anywhere else can be towed at the owner’s expense.
